Step by step

  1. Step 1: Choose the sourceGo to Data imports and pick your system: SAP S/4HANA, Business One, ByDesign, SuccessFactors or Datasphere; Oracle Fusion or NetSuite; Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance & Operations or Dataverse; Workday; Infor; Epicor; IFS; Acumatica; Sage Intacct; Odoo; Xero; MYOB; Salesforce; ServiceNow; Snowflake; BigQuery; a file in S3, Azure Blob or Google Cloud Storage; or any OData or REST API.
  2. Step 2: Choose what to bring inSchemes, lots and owners, trades and suppliers, compliance dates, levy arrears, work orders, or work order status updates (for example, close a StrataWorx work order when the Salesforce Case closes).
  3. Step 3: Sign inPick the sign-in method your IT team set up (for example OAuth client credentials or a service user) and enter the details. StrataWorx only reads; it never changes data in your system. Credentials are encrypted.
  4. Step 4: Map the fieldsWrite one line per StrataWorx field, like owner_email = Email. Use dots for nested values and {{First}} {{Last}} to combine. Translate values with status: Closed = done. Not sure? Save, click Preview, and use the suggested mapping.
  5. Step 5: Preview, then runPreview shows sample rows exactly as they'll look in StrataWorx and which rows would be skipped and why. Nothing is saved until you click Run now, or the schedule runs it.
  6. Step 6: Schedule itRun every 15 minutes, hourly, every 6 hours or nightly. Run history shows rows read, saved and skipped for every run.
  7. Step 7: Push instead of pullIf your middleware (SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Boomi, Logic Apps, Power Automate) should send data to StrataWorx, choose 'Push from your systems'. You get a private address and a signing secret; requests must be signed and fresh, and replays are refused.
Tips
  • Each record keeps its ID from your system, so running an import again updates records instead of duplicating them.
  • Using a system that isn't listed, like JD Edwards, TechnologyOne or Pronto Xi? 'Any OData API', 'Any REST API' or a signed push covers it.
