Before you start
- A smart TV, tablet or small computer with a web browser at the screen location.
Step by step
- Step 1: Create a screenOn Building › Lobby screens press New screen. Choose the Building, a Screen name, Orientation (Landscape or Portrait) and Seconds per notice (default 12).
- Step 2: Add noticesType the notices: a title line, then the text. Separate notices with a line containing only ---. Tick Also show current noticeboard announcements to include sent portal announcements automatically.
- Step 3: Publish and open on the screenPress Publish, then Open or Copy link on the row. Open the link in the TV's browser and make it full screen. No sign-in is needed on the screen.
- Step 4: Update itEdit the screen any time; changes appear within 5 minutes because the screen reloads itself.
- Step 5: Take it down or change the linkTake down stops the link working. New link replaces the link if it was shared by mistake (the old link stops working).
Common problems
The screen is blank.
The screen was taken down or its link was replaced. Copy the current link from the row again.
