Step by step
- Step 1: Add a visitorOn Building › Visitors press Add a visitor. Choose the Type (Visitor, Contractor, Delivery or Visitor parking) and enter the Name, plus Company, Trade, Visiting lot, Phone and Car rego as needed. Pick a Parking bay to book it for their stay (until Parking until, or 4 hours): it shows on the Parking bays tab, a bay already booked for that time is refused, and signing them out frees it.
- Step 2: Now or laterLeave Expected blank and they're signed in On site straight away. Fill in Expected for someone arriving later; they show as Expected until you press Sign in.
- Step 3: Parking timeFor a car, enter the Parking bay and Parking until. If they're still on site after that time, the row turns red and counts as Overstayed parking.
- Step 4: Sign outPress Sign out when they leave. The row shows In and Out times for your records.
- Step 5: Contractor checksIf a contractor's trade has expired insurance or licence, a red Trade insurance expired or Trade licence expired badge shows. Check before letting them start work.
Tips
- Use Parking bays to book specific visitor bays by the hour; this register is the sign-in sheet.
- The Cars parked figure is a quick check before a fire drill or evacuation.
